What is your first art-related memory?
My grandfather was a painter and he spent whole afternoons talking to me about colours and shades, but also about famous paintings. I certainly associate my first memories related to art and also my love for art with him.

What do you consider to be a safe space for your creative process?
A safe space for my creativity is not necessarily a “physical space” but a “mental space”!

It’s necessary that this space is empty from negative thoughts and that energies are all focused on creativity. The surrounding physical space must also be empty for me. I love to be surrounded by emptiness and start from zero.

Name one thing the world pandemic has taught you.
Nothing is guaranteed forever in life and creativity is the only key to getting out of crises. Reinventing new ways of working, communicating and selling.

In my case I changed my life adapting it better to the new world: I’m trying to dematerialize my studio to be able to work everywhere with my computer and also be able to transport “large format artwork” to the other side of the world thanks to the digital.
